About Passion Fruit Juice
Refreshing and packed with tropical flavor, passion fruit juice is perfect for those warm summer days. As a Brazilian, born and bred, I grew up juicing passion fruit at home, and I can safely say this is one of my favorite Brazilian fruits. Yes, passion fruit is native to the south of Brazil, near Argentina, so we have many recipes with passion fruit.
In Portuguese, we call it suco de maracujá, but many people abroad refer to it as maracuya juice (Spanish). As the third most-consumed juice in Brazil—only behind orange and cashew fruit—this passion fruit drink is obviously trendy. Rightly so because it is sweet, slightly tart, and has a strong and characteristic aroma. Put simply, it is delicious, and it will become your next go-to summer beverage!
